Newbie saying hello

Played my first round yesterday and would like to say hello. I was hitting the ball well and others couldn't believe it was my first time. I still need lots of practice because I was not consistant at all with driving or putting. All in all had a great time. I'm wondering how do you pick a putter? Is it the one that feels right for you and just practice with it. Thanks in advance. What a great forum..

You will enjoy GR and all the people here. If you go to the section "The Clubhouse" and then "Golf Tips" those guys will be able to help you get the putter & anything else you might need.

Hey Yo! welcome to GR!
A putter can be just about anyone you like, and can afford. You could probably put a 16 oz. hammer on a 4 ft. handle, if it works for you, use it. A slight exageration, probably wouldn't be legal, but the point is, so many designs, so many putting styles, so many opinions . And you can always try another one. Enjoy.
