I have been studying the forum with great interest for a while, but today is the day that I have registered and started posting.

I have a question: Why am I designated 'Weekend Duffer' and what does it take to upgrade my status (other than lessons from a pro!?)? Is there some system to this madness?

How do the different user titles/post levels work?

As you accumulate more posts, you will earn different user titles. Here are the different post counts with their user titles:

0-29 posts: Weekend Duffer
30-99 posts: Golf Enthusiast
100-249 posts: Q-School
250-499 posts: Tour Card
500-999 posts: Tournament Winner
1000-1499 posts: Green Jacket
1,500+ posts: Grand Slam

If you reach 2,000 posts or more, you will have the ability to choose your own custom user title. Supporting Members also have this ability.

Thanks for the welcome! I noticed that the designation did change automatically when I hit 30! Wooo-hooo!

The more hot air you spout ,the more important you think you are, which is how Leaguegolf and I work. If it went on quality, we would both be weekend duffers

I seem to fit that bill, with 43 posts in 3 days! I've never made this many posts on ANY site I've joined. Of course, I'm not this addicted to much of anything else besides golf.

We just had a member that went crazy...not here anymore I think she ended up with like 150 post in 3 days. None of them had any knowledge about golf...........but she thought they did
