Hello from Madison, Wisconsin
Hi,
I just found this forum today and I think it is great. I've been studing Ben Hogan's "Five Lessons" and "Power Golf" books this summer. My ball striking has improved tremendously but my score has yet to follow. Today in the sweltering heat, I brought my digital camera out to get some video of my swing. I had some great shots and some incredibly horrible shots, not much in between. When I got home and watched the video, I was amazed to find that my backswing looked like John Daley's. After a couple of practice "3/4" swings on the rug I think I'll be squared away for league play tomorrow.
Anyway, I'm currently playing a 13 year old set of King Cobra clubs. My driver is something like 235cc. I bought an odessey white hot #2 center shafted putter last fall and like it quite a bit. My driving average is somewhere between 215-230 and I've cracked a couple out 250-260 at times. I've been struggling hitting out of damp bunkers lately.
Well, that's all for now.
