I've heard DW's house in Franklin is just an ordinary, middle-class type house, not the huge place you'd expect ???? Any truth to that?

Not sure. Your really don't hear anything about the house, so it's not one of the "Tourist's Musts". I know George Jones' house is a nice home in a subdivision, though. Close to the liquor stores!
