this was a bad idea

I read this forum enough as it is, now with posting ability I might as well say goodbye to actual work. I'm from Tallahassee but play golf usually in Thomasville Ga. which is closeby. I recently decided to buy a good used fairway wood and, thanks in part to this website, ended up with a thousand dollars of various new clubs. cheers

Welcome to GR! It's great to have you here! There does not appear to be a 12-Step Program for golf or this forum, so you'll just have to suffer like the rest of us!

I don't know how bad the idea was but it seems like you might get some good ideas and equipment from the members in here. My first post and probably not my last. LOL. Glad to be a part of what looks like a fun time with people and golf talk. Looking forward to chattin with the people who are as sick as I am about golf. If you find a 12 step program PingRbest don't let my wife know, she'll get me in immediately. LOL.

Well you have obviously accepted that you have this problem and are willing to suck it up and live with it. So now all you have to do is persuade your wife or girlfriend to live in this **** with you. That is the hard part!!

This defines a 12-Step Program:
Quote:
Of or being a program designed to assist in the recovery from addiction or compulsive behavior, especially a spiritually-oriented program based on the principles of acknowledging one's personal insufficiency and accepting help from a higher power.
