Just wanted to say hello. I have just got back into golfing after a 20 year plus break. Loving it, taking some lessons.
Used to golf pretty good, and amazed how much you retain and remember. Doing all right, and loving the game again.
Now I have the time thanks to my business giving me that freedom. It was worth the hard work.
My husband is also trying it out, and being a Basketball Coach is pretty athletic, but you know golf its quite different, and frustrating in the beginning.
Cheers, Mary

Hi Mary,
Welcome!
I just took up golf 3 months ago to play in a scramble at a conference in Whistler. It was beautiful there! It was at Chateau Whistler. Challenging! I know a very nice retired gentleman in Maple Ridge who plays a lot of golf (I'm not sure if his wife does or not. So if you are interested in playing with him sometime, let me know and I will send you his email address.
Best of luck,
Lori
Welcome!! I`m in northern Idaho,so your closer to me then the others I`ve notice in this forum. Most are back east or south east of here. This a good site which will give good helpful advice if needed.
Welcome, Mary... are you near Vancouver by any chance? Beautiful city and surrounding area.
I am on Vancouver Island, Nanaimo about 80,000 pop. 1/1.2 hour drive from Victoria, I am sure most know that beautiful city. We are five min walk from the ocean on the East side of the Island. Many golf courses here. We moved from N. Vanc 2 1/2 years ago.
