Greetings
Hello Everyone,
I’m a beginner and I had my first experience on the green. I was too serious, felt a lot of pressure even though it was just for practice, my manager took me out, there were people behind us, etc.
Completing 9 holes I did ok, got 1 par, lost 2 balls and didn’t hit anyone with a ball. Ha, ha.
Any input anyone has for beginners is appreciated.
Regards,
Tayclaylor

As a beginner you might benefit from two books about golf instruction. They helped me greatly when I started playing many, many years ago. Both are by Tommy Armour, Sr., arguably the greatest golf teacher ever (he inspired Harvey Pennick, for instance). The two books are, "How To Break 100 in Ninety Days," and, "How To Play Yout Best Golf All the Time." These are wonderful lessons from the old master. By the way, that's his grandson on the PGA Tour.
