Collapsing right arm
Hello:
This is my first post. I had a lesson last week, with video. My left arm is bending at the top of the swing, which is apparently caused by my right arm not maintaining a 90 degree angle. This is also reducing my swing arc. It looks like I am overswinging slightly (i.e., trying to turn my shoulders a bit too much), resulting in too steep a downswing (and a resulting slice).
Have read several golf instruction books, and the only tip I can find is Leadbetter ("Faults and Fixes" book), who says to practice swinging a club with the hands split on the shaft.
Can anyone offer another drill?
Thanks,
Garry
