Welcome aboard. This is a fine site with lots of friendly, helpful folks. By the way, I played at Picture Butte Golf Club in Alberta, Canada in July. The course is located adjacent to a coal mine and in years past a burning coal pile would occasionally throw ash onto several holes of the course. The signature hole is the par 3 #16 (140 to 190 yards depending on the markers played), with a frightful green built on a ledge near the mine and at a drop on some 50 feet from the tee. Does your course have any effects from the mine?
