Golf Ball INformation needed

Hello,
I am working on a science fair project for my 8th grade physical science class and wondered if you could help. I am trying to determine which golf ball will stop the quickest when hit from a 50 to 60 yard approach shot to the green. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
thanks

That would be the one with the most backspin imparted on it by the wielder of the club...Trevino could park a RockFlite quicker than most could a Titleist. Advertisers spend lots of money trying to convince the golfing public that their ball goes further, flies truer, flies higher, flies lower, stops quicker, etc. than the other guys'...Iron Byron doesn't hit it precisely the same way each time so if you try to determine which ball is inherently better for any flight characteristic you will likely open a big can of worms (and lies). I guess you could narrow it down to what material the ball is made of rather than which company makes the ball! Balata balls may be the ones or try another equivalent material but i,m sure I agree with the quote above that the player striking the ball would have the most influence.

basically the one with a softer cover, and 3 or 4 piece construction. EG. Titleist Pro V1, Nike ONE Platinums, highest spinning balls out
