New member saying hello
My name is John, I'm 64 and have just taken up the sport this summer. I'm lucky that I have a longtime friend who was a pro and works in a golf shop. He has been a big help finding good used equipment for me and teaching me the basics of the game. Right now I'm shooting in the mid 50's and hoping to be able to get into the high 40's by next summer. I've already picked up alot from this site and hope to learn more.

Welcome aboard to a fellow "Seasoned Citizen" (I'm 65). This is such a wonderful game at any age. Had an uncle who took it up at 65 and he said golf added 10 years to his life, and they were quality years.
