Hello from Augusta, GA. Home of the MASTERS
Hey everybody, my name is Todd and I am stationed at Fort Gordon, GA. I am a SGT in the Army. BTW, I live right behind Augusta National. Pretty sweet, huh? Master's week gets kinda crowded. Anyway, looking to meet anyone close to go play some golf.

I learned to play golf at the little 9 hole course at Ft. Gordon. Welcome to GR.

I only come for a day or two during Masters Week...in and back home again each day.

Welcome to the forum.I spent some time at (then) Camp Gordon learning how to be a military policeman.That was in 1952.Had fun in Augusta.Wasn`t into golf then,so didn`t know about the MASTERS then.Enjoy the forum.

I live in Scotland and hope to be in Augusta for the Masters in 2007.
I've been checking out hotels but they're all booked it seems.

Is there somewhere maybe 30-45 minutes away that would still have accomodation available?
I get the impression "kinda crowded" is an understatement!

What's the car parking like if you can't get into the course facility?

Stay an hour or so away and you shouldn't have any problems. I never had any problems parking, but always got there early. I haven't been in five years or so, but I can't imagine it changing that much.
