Not in your neck of the woods but welcome to the forum, Marine. Navy here, 1984-93. Worked with, and hoisted a few brews w/many a Radio Battalion Marine out of K-Bay back in the day.

I am sure your boots would be shocked that you're a human being - play golf and everything!

Again welcome to the forum, and Thank You for your service....keep turning those kids into our nations' finest.

Hey Marine,
I’m a newbie too. I spent 13 years in the Corps, but my wife said “retire or stay married”. The good news is I’m still married. I played the course at K-Bay, and still believe it has to be one of the nicest military courses around. I’m in Alabama now, and my son is the golfer and I’m trying really hard. My goal for the summer was to play a whole round without loosing a ball. I did accomplish that, now I’m working on getting my score down. Drive is good, and putting is good it’s just everything in between that needs work.
I'm a Hollywood Marine (1983). Spent most of my time between Hawaii and California (of course I was never in town that long). I was a CH-46 crew chief (6172). Nice to see another Marine here, I won't hold the fact the you're a DI against you (I hated those guys). Semper Fi, and train those boy's well. Only 5 day's until our Birthday.

Welcome USMCGOLFER and Mr. Obvious, and thank you both for your service to our country. I look forward to reading your contributions.

BTW, I hope you don't mind if I move this to the Intros and Greets section...it's a more appropriate place for this type of thread and will probably get more attention here.
