I would love to play college golf but I think its to late for any colleges to take any intrest in me and my golf(which isnt to great).

O im a sophmore in HS right now, but im not trying out right this year because im 100% sure i wont make it so im trying out next year
Definately try out, and see how you compare to the guys. Also in the summer, try and play in local tournaments, to get a feel for competitive golf. You do not have to play college golf to go pro, but it definately helps. You could always try and walk on to a college team if you played a few years of high school...

From a High School Coach for Boys & Girls, I see many other teams that do not have a girls team. For most states, Girls are eligible to play on the boys team if they either do not have a girls team or if they do but don't play a certain number of matches. Check with your AD at the new school to see if that is the case. Many states also will allow girls to play as individuals in a certain number of matches (in SC it is 6) or tournaments during the official season. In SC we have two State Qualifiers in our Class which individuals that do not have a team are eligible to play in as individuals and then they can qualify for the State Championships by shooting below a set score...in SC it is a whopping 110. So keep you chin up, if you desire to play, all hope is not lost.

A hoosiers fan in SC? Glad to hear that. Why the beat up yellow smiley thing though? Must be good timing with the Butler embarassment from yesterday.

Originally by beat up smiley was for IU Football...it seems they are better than hoops now...even under Davis we didn't Turnover the ball 20 times and put the opposing team on the line 26 times. Can't win that way...
