My name is Rusty and I have been addicted to this game for nearly 30 years. One of these days someone will finally tell me that is actually a form of tourture. My handicap has been everywhere from 20 to 2. I just could not shave those extra two strokes off for some reason. I have been traveling in my job and that is the excuse I use for not playing much, but I am planning on joining a small course near home so I will have no excuse for not playing. With the exception of my driver (a Titleist 975 L-FE) I built all of my clubs. I'm buying my 5 year old grandson a putter and a sleeve of Titleist for Christmas. Maybe in a few years I will have a constant partner.
I really miss going to Myrtle Beach for golf outings. Maybe someone has a spot open. If you do, give me a yell. I keep bugging the guys at thinkandreachpar.com to get up a trip but they are ignoring me. LOL!
I hope to make a lot of new golf friends on this website. Ya'll keep 'em in the short grass.
Welcome aboard. GR is one fine site. Have played in Highpoint, Charlotte and Saphire Lakes. Are you near any of those?
Very close to Charlotte and not too far from Highpoint. Sorry, not sure where Saphire Lakes is. I played Oak Hollow in High Point several years ago. The LPGA used to play there. I have played many courses in Charlotte including Piper Glenn where the seniors play.
