Hello from WV

I have to admit that I am relatively new to the sport, but I also have to admit that I am absolutely nuts about the game. I try to go every time I have a chance. There is no doubt that I am hooked for life. But, I do have a question for anyone who can answer. I have a Callaway ten iron that I hit pretty well. My distance and control with it are reasonably consistent. However, I am still not sure of its purpose. Can anyone enlighten me?

Second NikeRep07 on the PW equivalency. Had a set of irons many years ago that had a 10 and an 11 iron (PW & SW). You'll love this fine site.

The 10 is a wedge. Was it not the Ben Hogan line that started to number the PS and SW as 10 and 11 ??? Welcome to this forum Its cool. West Virginia is not all that far from me at the beach.. Aloha
