I see that you are from KL, should not be a problem for you to find one. Well I'm from Penang and not really know much about pro shop in KL. Normal what we suggest beginners to do is to ask the pro shop if they carry any used clubs with graphite lady shaft. Better if they can throw in the drivers as well. Maybe the price should not be more than RM500.
Another advise for a beginner is to get a new set which is meant for beginners or forgiving sets. It should come with driver, 3 woods, 3 pcs of utility clubs, short irons and putter. A good one will cost around RM2000, but it sure help in your game.
A few brand name has it and Nickent golf has a good proven one

I'm using my second set and my third driver
Driver Taylormade 425
3 Wood Mizuno F50
Taylormade LT irons 3-S
Cleveland CG10 Black Pearl 56 wedge
Odessey 2 ball putter
If you need any help, go o my side and you can contact me directly from there

Have not heard of golf set with the name of powerbrit. For a beginner it should be ok. After a while you will find you need to upgrade to a more known branded clubs like Callaway, Nike, Taylormade or Ping. Most of these will cost about 2K to 4K here in Malaysia, but indeed a proper set for a golfer to have.
The other thing that you need to invest is having a coach. It is important to get a proper swing and later you start to enjoy the game. That is where when you start to know more about clubs, and which one is suitable for you. For some people at some level even the type of grip makes the difference.
So playing Bukit Jambul right? Well, it is not the same rank as what you have in KL but its quite a challenging course.

Maywong,
I’ve played the course a few times. Spent a lot of time there at the big hotel on the hill. (Can’t remember the name). It is not overly difficult, but it is no push over. If you play with someone that has played there before, they can tell you where to aim off of the tee. It is not real obvious. It is a tough course for a beginner. For a Country Club, the greens were kinda lousy. I guess I was never able to get used to the southeast Asian grass.
Don’t get to travel there anymore, but you never know, maybe we can hook up if I’m ever over there again.
