Hey, how you doing? What do you feel about the Chargers taking over the Oceanside Muni for the stadium? I live on the other end of San Diego, near the Eastlake area of Chula Vista.

Im sure this forum will be as fun as the auto forums. Its nice to see alot of other golf enthusiasts and hear what they have to say!

Actually that would be fine with me. That course is nicknamed "Goat Hill" and it's a really bad course. It's a cheap course, but man do you get what you pay for. Flattening that hole of a course would be a great thing for Oceanside, and it would be cool to have the Chargers in my backyard.

Nice. Ive never played goathill. A number of my coworkers frequent that course. I was wondering how the people of oceanside felt about the course. Which courses do you frequent? I primarily play at Salt Creek, Riverwalk, Sycuan, and Torrey Pines

I'm a member at El Camino C.C. here in Oceanside. I live on the course, so it's really convenient. That's where I play mostly, but I'll play out at San Luis Rey Downs, Oceanside Municipal (only when I must), and several of the courses up in Temecula. A friend of mine is a member at Vista Valley CC in Vista, so we play there a lot too.

I haven't played down in your neck of the woods in a while. I played Eastlake a few years back, but that's the last time I was down that far. Sycuan used to be Singing Hills correct?

Yep. Bought about 4-5 years ago by the tribe. I'll be playing down there in March for 4 days with about 19 other crazies at our annual blow out.

I haven't played it since 1992. We had our CIF individual qualifying matches there back in high school. There's a couple courses there right. Pretty nice back then if I remember right. I've heard it's VERY nice now.
