Started golfing 3 years ago. Within those 3 years I played 4 or 5 times. Last summer, I played 25 times. Needless to say, I am truly addicted. I've taken lessons, I watch TGC all the time. I even watched Caddy Shack for the first time last night.

Your wife IS right..you do need help. But this isn't the place to seek it, because everyone here needs help too. You will have a lot of fun here though.
Good to know. I'm a Giants fan myself (east coast transplant), but I'll settle for the Bears right now.
I usually play at Robert Black in Rogers Park. It's a 9 hole course. I've also played at Tam O'Shanter, Chick Evans, Billy Caldwell, Jackson Park, and the one on the lake in Lincoln Park.

Your wife is right - you are obviously not getting in enough golf each week and we can definitely fill that void
