Just thought that i would say hello and introduce myself. I have about a 15 handicap that i am trying to improve on. about 10 years ago, i was involved in a motorcycle accident that required surgery on my left arm. i thought i was done with golf, but last year, i changed jobs and met a few guys that loved to hack. long story short, i got the bug again!
I have 2 wonderful boys, one 14 years and the other 6 months. yeah i know....but i love surprises!!!! anyway, i look forward to meeting some of you and picking up a few tips.
Lot's of good info and knowledgeable golfer's here...got our share of high handicappers, too...all ages from all over the world, so you're in good company. You know, Hogan broke his arm in a wreck and turned out to be pretty good. Oh, and we've got bikers here, too. Good to have ya.
I am on the other side of SC, Anderson. We love to go to Charleston though.
Yeah, I read that about Ben Hogan. It's been less than a year since I bought my sticks and since then, I have bought a membership at my home course and shaved about 20 strokes off my game. I still have a ways to go to get back to where i use to be, but hopefully I will get there.

I only took up golf this past year...up in the DC Metro region.
I haven't played in Charleston, yet. I have played in Aiken,SC and Augusta, GA.
