New Player
I'm new to the boards, and to golf in general. I've been playing for only a few months now with an old beat up hand me down set of non brand named clubs. I'm slowly starting to build a budget starter set so far consisting of taylormade driver, orlimar hybrids, beat up irons and an assortment of wedges... It's not that pretty but I still have fun with them. I honestly couldn't justify buying an expensive set of clubs vs my actualy golf experience, but we'll see how it goes.

Welcome to Golf Rewind, dakine808! Hey, where in Hawaii you from? I'm originally from Hawaii. Lived on Oahu and played a lot at Ala Wai, Ewa Villages, Kapolei, Coral Creek and occasionally at Mamala Bay when my friend can get me on.
That's always a good strategy to start with. As you get more into the game, I'm sure you can invest more money into it. Well, great having you on board!
