Texan Newbie

Hello Hello,

Just picked up golf again after a twenty year layoff ... Good Lord the game has changed!

New equipment, lessons and tons of driving range time - I'm obsessed!

Having a great time thusfar, love the community here.

to Golf Rewind! What was the state of your game after coming back from a 20 year (!) layoff? ... Just like riding a bike?

Welcome to Golf Rewind! There are a lot of other golfers on here from the DFW area. Check out the Texas forum when you get the chance to discuss golf and connect with others in your area.

There are also a lot of SEC fans on here so I'm sure you'll have a lot to talk about with them, too!

Plus, there's always the usual golf discussions going on here. Glad to have you here!

State of the game was not good, but my old clubs were the equivalent of shovels :) New clubs and a couple of lessons and I'm back in the 90's. In the old days I would get frustrated w/ bad shots, now I'm just trying to figure out what happened and going with the flow - makes the round much more relaxed and fun.
