Hi everyone! I've been a forum junkie for years, but I never thought of joining a golf forum until today. How cool that I joined on Golf Rewind's 3rd birthday.

A little about me - I'm 38 and have been playing golf since I was 15. Back in my 20's I had my handicap down to a 7, but with a career and family, my opportunites for golf lessened and my golf game suffered.

I recently joined the Canongate clubs in the Atlanta, GA area and have been playing much more regularly for the past two months. It is amazing how the game starts coming back to you with a little practice.

I love all of the tours and try to get out to tournaments in the Atlanta area when I can. I've even worked as a volunteer at one of the American Express championships in the past. My favorite golfer is Phil Mickleson though I grew up a big Jack Nicklaus fan (who didn't) and also follow Fred Couples when he is healthy.

Anyway, I look forward to talking golf and sharing stories. You'll probably see a lot of me around here!

Welcome to the board.....sounds like we have the same favorite golfers---I am almost Jacks's age so I tried to play the way he played----but without his success! Great win by Phil yesterday--hope he can keep it up!

Thanks! I grew up with Jack's books and even the "Golf My Way" video. I wish they would put that out on DVD. I've played a high cut all my life thanks to Mr. Nicklaus....

I've still got enough youth left in me to try and play the game the way Phil does - laying up is a last resort. I can hit the 300 yard mark from time to time and sometimes that is more of a curse than a blessing. But, I was impressed with Phil's game this weekend. It just kept getting better and better. I'm looking forward to the U.S. Open - hopefully, he will throw off the ghosts of last year.
