Greetings from Charlotte, NC

I joined a few weeks (or months) ago, but never properly introduced myself.

I moved to the Charlotte area from Oregon a little over a year ago. I've always enjoyed getting out on the golf course, but for the most part, I've been a very infrequent player. About 9 months ago, I started playing with some of my new neighbors and I've been getting in 18 holes almost every week since then. I finally bought some decent clubs a couple months ago to replace my 15 yr old Spalding clubs. So I've been working on my game quite a bit and I'm finally starting to see some progress. My last 2 rounds have been in the 90's. Pretty good considering I'd only broken 100 one time prior, and that was years ago on a par 70 course :)

I'm really enjoying the forums here and I've already gotten some great advice on clubs, balls, swings, and courses in the Charlotte area.

See everyone around.

I've only played a few courses so far, but I've liked them all. I keep playing The Divide in Matthews, NC because it's only about 10 minutes from my house and it's a nice course. But I plan on eventually trying a lot more courses around the area.
