Hi guys. I'm very new to golf but I am quickly getting addicted. My boss actually took me out because he needed an extra for his forsome. I ended up logging a better score then everyone but him (Coincidence?) Let's just say the other guys got a lot of guff from my boss. Anywho, I am looking for a really good Golf related magazine to subscribe to. What are y'all reading these days?

Personally I don't subscribe to any golf magazines. The golf tips they provide often conflict and just fill my head with unwanted thoughts.
I sometimes go to the library and read Golf magazine and Golf Digest if I want to find out about new equipment, etc. Mostly though I just use the Internet.
I don't subscribe to any golf magazine either but I've read them all. Personally, I find all of the information I need here or elsewhere.
Have to agree with the above although I do get an online subscription to Golfweek.....welcome to Rewind....you'll find the people informative and the site full of interesting (and sometimes comical) remarks....
Thanks for the welcome and the replys. Sounds like I should save some money and skip the subscription. Mitchalo2, I'm from the SE part of the state on the ocean. Lots of great golf I'm just finding out about!

Really? We stay at Holden a lot. Thanks to EDS Golf, we'll be playing at Sea Trail on Labor Day weekend.
Golf Magazine and Golf Digest are the longest running, and the best I think.
As a person just learning the game, I do recommend you subscribe to one for a year or two. You will pick up a lot of things if you read carefully.
Not every suggestion is good for you. Some tips do contradict each other, but that's because some advice works for some, other advice for others. That is no reason not to try out suggestions and see what works. Don't go overboard, but trying things out can have some results. Lately they have been running frame by frame pictures of the swing of top golfers--very helpful to see the "freeze frame" positions that you might be aiming for. Again, some swings will be like yours, others not so much.
The Golf Channel is very good if you prefer that over a magazine. Some of the lessons on demand are great.
If you don't already own one, a book on the rules and etiquette of the game is not optional.
