Question Going to Ireland to Golf

Im a new guy here and i thought this would be a good place to meet other golfers who've played over seas and see if there was any advice they could lend me. Im going to Ireland to play in September with a charity group, accompanied by a group of athletes - i.e. Darrell Evans, Vida Blue, Steve Carlton and others. Whats should I definitely bring, what should I watch out for?

Any advice guys?

Thanks

Bring rain gear , bring summer gear , bring windproof gear, bring sweaters and be prepared to wear all of them at various times during the same round. bring your drinking boots and plenty of painkillers for hangovers the post golf festivities are great and Guiness is a powerful brew particulally compared to some US beers( i use the term loosley) . lastly if you are playing links golf bring a lot of golf balls !

lots of rain gear and sweaters, because in Ireland the weather can change at almost anytime, dont be discouraged by the forecast either, when I went rain was scheduled everyday and it only was a drizzle a few days
