I have been lurking for a while and decided to join this site. I am from the Northern California area and have been playing golf on and off for about 15 years. Since I am getting closer to retirement, (well not really that close), I have recently rededicated myself back to playing seriously. There seems to be lots of nice fellow golfers here and I thought I would like to join the site. I look forward to adding my .02 here talking about this great game... Mike

Thanks for the welcome guys...Ed I'm in Pacifica, and on weekends I have a place in Groveland, (near Yosemite) I play most of my golf at Sharp park and at Pine mountain lake courses. How about you?

I live over the foothills from Berkeley, in Contra Costa County. In Pittsburg. I play all over the place though. I guess from Pacifica, your not too awfully far from Spyglass. Which is my favorite course.

Ed you do the same...I also have played all over the Bay Area. Some of my favorite courses are; Sonoma, Windsor, and the old course at Half Moon Bay...I am playing on Saturday at Sequoia Woods in Arnold...I love Spyglass as well.( I do perfer Pebble thou) ...I love the first hole teeing off out of that narrow shoot Par 5 ..... hard green to reach in two with all them bunkers around it... That is the course where I learned never, never try to hit out of that ice plant...Hit em straight Ed...lol
