Hello from Newbie in NoCal
Hi everyone!
I just started playing the game about a month ago and but have been hitting the driving ranges since September. Already have played 5 rounds the past month, boy I tell you, back in September I couldn't hit the ball. Every two weeks I have gained confidence and have hit the ball. Tried to hit it straight and farther. I remember the first time I started hitting the ball, farthest is about 80 yards with my driver but now between 180 - 210 yards. Feels real good! I think that's not bad for three months since I started.
I still have to work on my irons, I hit most of my irons between 100 - 110 yards. I also need to work on my short game. Chipping to be exact! Got to practice on those wedges as well. Need to read the greens better for better putt.
I think golf is a great game, it's also a game of adjustments.

Yes, it is and you don't know the half of it. You'll be saying the same thing in 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, probably forever. That's what makes it so much fun, frustrating and challenging.
Enjoy!
