Hello from Texas

Just wanted to say hi...... I really like the forum, especially the club making forum. Been swinging since last November so not very long. I've become very addicted to this game, i wish i would have been exposed to the game when i was younger.

Re: Hello from Texas

CJ! Are you thinking about putting together a club-set yourself?

actually i just finished up a 3 wood.... hopefully ill get to test it out tomorrow and hopefully the clubhead doesn't come flying off lol. It is an xpc max offset fairway head and the snake eyes prolaunch 65 shaft.

I know i've only been playing for a couple months but i am simplifying my bag...only going with:
3 wood
5-pw
putter

but i want to build it to my specs using components. i could care less about brand name clubs.

Re: Hello from Texas

Cool! I hope you will hit it well. The preparation is half the fun of the game! It's a way to enjoy the game even when your are not playing. I have bought golf clubs, but I used to enjoy taking meticulous care in preparing my fishing tackle.
