Hi everyone I've been looking at the website for quite a while now and have finally decided to join. I'm a golf addict and have been since I started playing again a year ago. Anyway I'm sure you will all be hearing a lot more from me in the future. Great site by the way!!

The golf is ok it's not been great weather recently though, I played on Saturday in 40mph winds with gusts of 60mph so that was tough. I'm a member of 2 courses, Cavendish Golf Club & Buxton & High Peak Golf Club. Both are in Buxton, Derbyshire. Cavendish was designed by Alister Mackenzie who designed Augusta National as I'm sure you're all aware. It's a short course but the greens afre very undulating which can be fun in summer when they're quite fast. How about you mikolfw01?
Cavendish must be an awesome course with Mackenzie as the architect. I have only been out twice in the last few months but hopefully the weather will break soon. I have been playing Morgan Hill Golf Club near Easton and Scotland Run, both in PA. Morgan is real nice mountain course. Enjoy your golf. Let meknow if you're visiting the States.
