Welcome to GR!

I would suggest starting with some lessons. The pro could give you the run down in very short order and also help you develop a good, solid swing.

Good luck and welcome again!

Re: New here

Avatar is right, a few lessons to get you started in the right direction is very useful. Explore the internet where there are some good sites with enough information to overwhelm you. My personal favorite is: www.golflink.com , a commercial sight with an annual fee with some of the best video instruction available that I have found. It's enough to keep you confused for life.
Welcome to golf and Golf Rewind.

Correct, and welcome btw, lessons can start you down the path of having fun while you are on the course, not frustrated.
