Thumbs up Goodbye Golf Rewind!

Well, so long golf rewind. I've enjoyed the time here, but I think it's time to saddle up.

I've been thinking about my goals, my future, etc. And realized that instead of being on golf forums talking about golf, I should be out playing. If I want to be on the PGA Tour someday, I need to dedicate all of my time towards playing.

Anyway, thats my farewell speech. Again I've really enjoyed my time here and its an awesome forum, good laughs, good times, but its just time to hit thee old dusty trail.

Keep on truckin',
Samsquanch.

Play well, and remember... when given the chance to have Tiger on your fantasy golf team, don't pass him by, lol!

Re: Goodbye Golf Rewind!

As the Terminator once almost said -"YOU'LL BE BACK."

I left golf for over 15 years once -- young family, tight budget, climbing a professonal ladder. But the golf bug with which I had been infected since 13 years of age finally pulled me back in.

You'll go away for a while but you can't play golf 24/7.

If you are a real golfer, you will start waking up at 2 a.m. replaying that last round in your mind.

At work, the golfing worm will find its way into your software triggering recurring thoughts of "If I had just only...?", "Could I have worked that approach shot on 17 a bit better with that new line carbon nanotube Callaways?", "Which of those new tungsten and silly puddy-embedded nanoparticle balls might work better in the spring winds?"

You will need to find an outlet for those recurring thoughts of golfing Nirvanna.

And finally you'll come back to Golf Rewind.

Good luck to you! No reason to leave though; you can't hit balls in the dark. Just check in when you can.

Thanks! Well, you can hit balls in the dark… just not that easily, but I could go putt on the carpet, and better yet, sleep. But yeah I'll check in once in a while.
