Greetings

31 yr old in upstate SC. I'm the guy who has always had a set of clubs in the garage for annual business outings but I just got serious about the game 2 years ago. I am of course absolutely addicted. Look forward to all the advice I can get...

Re: Greetings

Welcome aboard to GR and the game. If you like to learn from books, try two by Tommy Armour, Sr. That's his grandson on the PGA Tour. They are, "How To Break 100 in 90 Days," and "How To Play Your Best Golf All the TIme." You may have to order them through your local bookstore, but they will be well worth the effort. I first read them over 50years ago and still refer back to the latter every month. They are wonderful lessons from arguably the best teacher the game has seen. Do they work? It took me 180 days to break 100, but I was 8 years old. And I still play to a 2 handicap at nearly 70 years of age. Looking forward to your posts.

Re: Greetings

Thanks for the welcomes. 2 handicap at 70, that's unbelievable. Last week I shot my best round ever of 83 and could have done back flips through the parking lot. I'll definitely look into the books.
