Re: Hello from Pennsylvania
The most important parts of the drive is setting up and trying not to hit the ball too hard. The set up is: ball position on the left heel, your body is more upright, and your hands should be more ahead so (if your right handed) your left hand should be above your left knee, but you want your hand down, not pushed out. Pushing the hands out will make you hit the ball low or top it. You should always have a swing thought that is considered a swing cue that makes you hit a good shot no matter what club you have in your hand. If someones swing is incorrect, it shows up more with the drives because the clubface is straighter and the club is longer. Hope this helps!
