New to the site and to golf

Hello everyone!! I just started playing golf in July (but I played a lot when I was younger and trying to get back into it) and have been taking weekly lessons since and have been playing about once or twice a week. I have to say, it does get VERY frustrating at times...Looking forward to meeting new people!

Re: New to the site and to golf

Oh tell me about it. As of this writing I have been playing for six months. I'm retired and live across the road from a private course in our village. I can get out everyday unless my wife has other plans.
If it's not one thing, it's another....BUT, keep at it! I find I'm topping less, slicing less, and tomorrow I gonna unwrap that 3 iron from around that tree from last week!
Welcome to the site, really nice people here!
Hey, wanna by a pretzel shaped 3 iron???? LOL!

Frustrating sometimes doesn't describe it!! At least I haven't wrapped any clubs around trees or other fixed items....although the thought has crossed my mind a couple times!

Welcome to the forums, by the way.

LOL. My sentiment exactly. I shot 90 last Sunday, I guess it's from using my temporary clubs (D3), while my regular club (D1) are in the shops. Frustrating, cannot get good contact with the ball at all.
