Welcome to Golf Rewind Nicki. Great username BTW. You've found your way to a great place where others who share your love for the game congregate and chat about golf and most anything else that strikes our fancy. I look forward to hearing what you have to say about golf in your part of the world.

Hi, Nicki, and Wecome to Golf Rewind! Sounds as if you've become pretty good in the relatively short time you've been playing this game; good job. We look forward to hearing your opinions and reports from the Birthplace of Golf. Happy Posting!

Hello Golf Mad Lass,

Great name!!! Welcome home.. I am ABSOLUTELY sure you will feel right at home here. I cant wait to hear about the bunkers over there. I have dreamt of getting up and down from the St. Andrews bunkers for my entire life. Of course, I get it up and down, its a dream.....hehehehe

Hi Nicki, welcome to the forum. I love your country and especially your golf
courses. Where do you play regularly in Scotland and what courses have you
played?

Where do I start? There are so many top courses in Scotland and it all depends in what your after. If its true Links golf then you cant beat the likes of The Old Course, Carnoustie, Troon and also Cruden Bay. I your looking for a more parkland then there is a selection of more 'American' courses, one of my favourites is a course just north of Aberdeen called Newmacher.

I have played many courses in Scotland (the Old Course, The New Course,
Jubilee Course, The Devlin Course, Kingsbarn, Carnoustie, Turnberry, Western Gales,Prestwick, Nairn, Cruden Bay, Royal Dornoch, Muirfield,Troon, and many more). I was just wondering what coursed that you play regularly or
have played since to live there.

I live in the central belt and there are some nice courses in my area. Some of the better ones are Glenbervie, Breahead and Alloa.
