You're a "newbie" so I'll let that one slide..... but do you really want to open that can of worms, given OSU's current situation?

GG, it's apparently some sort of nut, native to Ohio. I guess it's held in quite high esteem by it's residents. Their state college football team is named for these nuts and their half-time shows revolve around the spelling of the state name by their marching band.... this requires many years of education and grueling practice. It's all a bit strange to outsiders... you'd probably want to spend some time there to understand...on second thought, uhh ...maybe not.

jist kidden' all my nutty friends

I can see we'll never get anywhere with this Ohio/Michigan thing, but I will say in your favor I've spent a lot of time hunting mushrooms in the hills of southern Michigan, and they are the best!

I'm really not into the Michiganders vs Ohioans either. Be careful in those southern Michigan hills.....there's some pretty strange mushrooms growing there!
