I am a beginner, serious at that. I've had lessons from a golf pro and have played about 7 games in total since last fall. I am hoping to play at least Saturdays and Sundays til the fall ends; I work 40 hrs a week I think I am now totally obssessed with golf and have been visiting every site I can find on the net.
I just upgraded from a ladies' beginner's set to Adams idea hybrids and irons. I am thnking of getting a new putter and maybe a 3 wood. Any suggestions? I am very excited to play better golf!!!
Welcome, chiquita! Having taken lessons from a pro so early in your golf career, I'd say you're off to a good start. Sure, get a new putter; it's something we golfers do! Seriously, if you look at the Golf Equipment forum, you'll probably find several threads of interest.

i do not only have the bug but the disease as well. i used to think golf was for old men until i got beginner's sets from a friend. i took lessons and man-oh-man did i love them!!!! then someone gave me a set of adam's idea irons ...
now i watch the golf channel and truly appreciating every single ad, tip, tour coverage there is. i regret the i can only play golf on saturdays and sundays
maybe play little hookey once in a while. i need to find someone to play with too...so i joined the EWGA. anyone out here in maryland?
