Hello chaps (and ladies) I hope to have some fun on here and maybe pick up a tip or two (I need em) I played on Friday and just as I was approaching the 13th tee, my mobile rang(oh oh) yeah you guessed right, it was the wife

..... blah blah blah can you come and pick me up at the supermarket when you have finished your game in 20 mins time darling.(that sounded like an ultimatum)blah blah blah.Anyway to cut along story short I was 55 mins late and I did not get to the 19th waterin hole.Never ever will a phone find its way into my bag.

Welcome to Golf Rewind! A cell phone always finds it's way into my bag (for emergencies) but rarely, if ever, does it find it's way out while I'm playing!

and it never ever finds it's way out of the bag until I've had my fill at the 19th hole!

There's just no excuse for taking a call while playing golf, unless the birth of a child or the death of a spouse is imminent--and even in those circumstances it's questionable.

It's nice to have you here at Golf Rewind, Tomazagato. It's too bad that you had to learn the hard way to turn off the phone on the course. If the wife can't reach you to tell you to be home in 20 minutes, or by such and such a time, you can never be accused of being late.

I, too, keep my cell with me on vibrate only in case of emergencies. My wife KNOWS that it better **** well be an emergency if she calls me on the course. She's very cool about that.
