No reviews?!?
I thought they sold a ton of these things. Anyway I have a set of the g2 with a 2HL, 3HL and 4hl. Blue dot and graphite shafts. A very nice set of the clubs. The hls work very well for me. I seem to have a naturally high ball flight anyway and these dont do anything to lower that so some people may not like that. Very forgiving on mis hits and even with my limited skills I can work the ball a little.
Of course they have a little different look that seems to be a love it or hate it thing for others. I moved over from Ping I3 OS and have played pings for a while so it doesnt bother me.
The variety of fits available is of course one of Pings big selling features. I went about it a bit differently. I got fitted using at a shop with the Ping cart and then they (2nd Swing) were able to locate a pre swung set that matched my setup. All the good of the fitting without the usual $$$ involved with Ping.
Overall a nice setup. If I find, as my skills improve, that I cannot work the ball enough, I may switch over to the new I5s since they are more like the I3s I am used to but it will be hard to give up the HL long irons. They are just so easy to hit consistently
Anyway. My two bits

Thought, in interest of full disclosure, I should post some follow up even though it has been a couple of days. Today two of the weights fell out of the clubs. This happened to the 3 iron a couple of weeks ago. They have been good replacing them but it still eats up time. They said it is very rare but the store I bought them from (used) offered to take them back so I am considering going to the Callaways which dont seem to have much to fall off.

I have the Ping G2 Irons 3-PW, 3HL and 4HL, in a white dot. I have had them probably for 6 months now and they are great. No problems at all. Great clubs.

I have Ping G2s. They are Red Dots with JZ Stiff shafts. I have 4HL and then normal 5-PW. They are alright. I am more of a par/scratch golfer, and I can't always hit them on the money everytime. I play a lot of summer tournaments and play for my local high school golf team, so, I need the best fitting irons for me. These aren't them. They are nice clubs don't get me wrong, just not for me. I have a tendency to catch them a hair fat on almost every shot. Which loses me about 5 yards. I hit 6-iron 171 with these. And with most other sets, I can hit them like 175. So, who knows.

I got a set of G2's last year, black dot and am very happy with them. I love the 3 HL and 4HL. I got rid of my hybrids.

You can't go wrong with these.
