PowerBilt Grand Slam Irons Review

I picked these up on ebay and got them in on Friday. I had been playing with an old set of PowerBilt TPS. I have played allot of clubs and I gotta tell ya these are fantastic. I know they are not a set of high dollar pings or bridgestones but they are amazing. These are the most forgiving irons I have hit. I have the ball scars on the heel and toe to prove it, and never felt that club shock you get from a miss hit. Even the miss hits stayed in playable. They seemed to hit farther and were much lighter than what I am used to. The stock graphite shaft is not bad. Its a stiff shaft which is what I really need anyway. I know very few people these days know much about PowerBilt unless you find that random shop that carries them, but for what you get for the money, these are well worth looking at. I'll posts some pics as soon as I get them up, plus I need to clean them up after a day at the range.

Wink PowerBilt Irons

For the price you can't beat them. My set is comparable to some more
expensive sets like the "Nike Pro-Combo" or the "Bridgestone J-33" but for
several hundred dollars less - same 8620 Carbon Steel - Same high quality
finsh - dynamic gold shafts - just minus a few dollars - a name brand in most cases won't let you play like the pro's so why pay the higher price.
