yep....I had them (R steel). The good news is the 5-8 were amazing, long & straight. I could not hit the 3/4 iron woods for the life of me. The 9/pw sole was to fat for my liking & no workability in close off short grass. To much bottom edge on the finese irons, had to get rid of them.

Re: Tour Edge Bazooka JMAX QL Irons Review

I have had them for about 7 months, bearing in mind I have only played this game about 9 months.. It has taken me a long time to hit the 3 and 4 hybrid, that is playing once a week, but once I worked it out, they are great. At address they appreared quite closed, hence I was hooking them, when I never hook anything, so I opend my stance up just a bit, and POW have not looked back. the rest are fine, got my distances pretty sorted. Compared to my freinds who I play with, they dont have extra ordinary distance, but that may be me as well. I do find that the 3 and 4 hybrids suffer a lot of distance loss into the wind, it feels like more in proportion to the rest. On the other hand, dowwind, I have hit them almost as long as my 3 wood, 200 metres plus.

Re: Tour Edge Bazooka JMAX QL Irons Review

I am currently using these (regular flex steel) and they are pretty decent. I've only been playing since November of last year so not very long but these are my second set of clubs. These are far better than my first set of cheap dunlop graphites.

Like the above poster said, the 9 and pw are on the fatter side and i'm not too fond of them. The 3/4 hybrids are nice and easy to hit, and for me they are low/mid trajectory but nice, long, and straight.

Get them used so they're cheaper, and they are a pretty good value.

Re: Tour Edge Bazooka JMAX QL Irons Review

I've bought a set of these since returning to golf after an almost 10 year layoff. All I can say is that from 3 to PW these are way easier than the old Wilson Pro Staff tour blades I used to play with. I also got the graphites which I was worried they were going to be a little whippy but I've been pleasantly surprised. Probably the best $150 I've spent.

They do however start to look pretty beat up quickly if you carry versus cart.
