pro comp

I have not had other forged irons before but I really like the softer feel and the ability to work them. I use stiff shafts. Yesterday I hit the 7 140 with a twenty mph cross wind and landed three inches from the pin --

That's a good idea - doing a couple to see if you like them. I just got the whole set changed at once. I was hitting horribly with the stock shafts. The heavier DG's made me slow down a bit, but I got a ton more control and my distance jumped. I love beign able to work the ball either way and up or down as needed. Unfortunately, I'm getting better at working the ball out of sheer necessity.

Well the combo's just went in for new DG s300's with Golf Pride Tour velvets. Great Deal at Golf Town, 20% off shafts with free install and 2 for 1 Grips.

Good purchase, I hope you like them. I have s300 shafts in my R7's and I love it (of course, I came from uniflex graphite shafts on my previous set )
