Thumbs up

after tested it for 3 rounds , finally i admit my lovely MX-23 lost to this new toy.. titleist 775.CB
perhaps titleist more suitable for my swing . i think is due to it have heaview shaft nspro100(113gm) than mx-23 nspro950gh(94gm) . now i can feel the weight of the club and use swing instead of hit.

from 6iron to long iron, i'll hit a draw sometimes. and 8-P iron is more accurate and straighter than mx-23. i especially love the P iron. at my home course ,many par4 i'll left around 125y for 2nd shot, and i have some accurate shot with birdy chance by using this lovely P iron. for my hcp16, within 10f birdy chance is very rare.

at the impact, the feel of 775.cb is more solid yet softer . both are forged iron but i found titleist more buttery feel than mx-23. does the shaft play in role of soft feel here? i dont know.. both R-flex. ofcourse it will not as soft as its big brother MB ...

forgiving wise,775.cb slightly for forgiving than mx-23,but not much.
their 3-4iron is longer and harder to make good contact. just wonder how come they design this iron for mid-high handicaper, many of them can't hit long iron. and now they make it even more harder to play...

distance wise, after change this iron, my swing for toward smooth tempo swinger. when im using mizuno,im more toward fast tempo hard hitter. so for me, the distance quite close, 775.cb will have more +-5y than mx-23 with smooth swing and it will gain more distance if i hit it hard.

so if u are hcp 13-20, it'll be nice iron for u.

it's just my $0.02

Titleist 775's?

Anyone played these irons? I hit them at the local store and liked them fairly well, I did like the Mizuno MP-60's and 33's too though. Just curious. Thanks.

Titleist 775.CB Irons Review

Well I just paid for a set of irons on Ebay. I got a set of Titleist 775cb's with two Vokey wedges for 360 bucks. Seems like a deal to me. Ive posted this question before, who has these irons, and how well do you like them? I have had a chance to hit them twice at the local stores, and I liked them pretty well, and for the money, I figured worst case scenario, keep the wedges and resell the irons.

I just ordered a set. I got fitted at my course and hit some others (bridgestone something or others and Taylor Made this or thats). I liked the Titleist the most but to be fair they were all nice and I kind of had it in my head that I wanted the Titleist 775's before I got there so I was biased a bit. Should be in next week. Can't wait.

Im sure you will love them. I got mine a few weeks ago, and have had the chance to play once and practice a bit, and I like them very well. The only other club that I felt hit as nicely was the Mizuno mp-60's, but Im too cheap to drop that kind of dough. I got my 775's used off of Ebay with two Vokey wedges for only $360. The Mp-60's were still around 550-600 for anything decent, unfortunately. Long story short, welcome to the club!

Got mine this afternoon and hit a couple buckets. They seemed to hit higher and farther than my old clubs but I am just getting back into the game so until my swing comes back it will be hard to know for sure how well I hit them. But they look great and they are fitted for me.

I have hit the 6 iron in the golf shop multiple times. I though it stood out as one of the smoother feeling clubs. Great shaft too. I have been giving serious thought to getting this set myself. I think I'm gonna hold out till the fall, I believe Titilest will be coming out with some new irons then. I also have to give props to Mizuno's irons too. They are top of the line as well.

Well, I've had the clubs for a while now and I love them. I have always been a low ball hitter but I hit towering shots with these and have gained a noticeable amount of distance. Nothing crazy but it got me more up to speed with my playing partners. When I used to play with them I'd be a club behind them in distance every time. Now I am pulling the same iron they pull.

I am a big guy (6'6") and have never been fitted before. This set I had fitted at the course hitting balls on the range with a fitting cart and a pro. That may account for some of this but it's great to hit the ball high. That being said, if you hit the ball high already you might want to try these out before you order them. I am really not sure if I was always a high ball hitter with a poorly chosen set of clubs or whether these clubs miraculously changed me but there's a definite difference. I couldn't be happier with the new sticks. May add a hybrid before long.
