G2 iron transition to Macgregor M675 irons

I'm currently using Ping G2 irons and playing reasonably well to a 7 handicap. I decided to give the M675s a try to see if I can't gain a bit more feel, feedback and workability. I've been hitting stiff shafts in the G2s, but decided to try regular Dynamic gold shafts in the 675s. I've heard alot of good things about the 675s with regard to being somewhat forgiving, longer and with a higher launch angle. Anyone care to share their views and experiences with the 675s?

Re: G2 iron transition to Macgregor M675 irons

I played the old 1025M VIP blades from MacGregor and they were the most forgiving muscle backs I ever hit. I don't follow MacGregor's new stuff. The 1025M's were revered as remarkable clubs, but I don't know if MacGregor is as highly regarded now... just the impression I get.
