silver scott 845s

Are the silver scott 854s too hard to handle for a beginner?. I came across a set of these for a great price that fit my specs . The clubs i have now are cheap and are too short and these are one of the options i am considering.

No. I think they are a great set of irons. I still have a set that are about 12 years old and will not give them up. I bring them out once in awhile when I feel my game has gone south. Oh, I now play Calloway X16, on a regular basis.

Re: silver scott 845s

I played the TA 845FS irons for 3-4 seasons and I liked them. The only thing I did was replace the grips because the stock grips were terrible. Once you regrip them, they're a very good club and one of the best bargains in irons.

Funny, like Erik M., I'm now playing Callaways (X-14 Pro Series), which I like better than the TAs because of the reduced offset and better shafts in the Callaways.
