Any of you with facial hair...

have any tips on how to keep stuff from getting in the mustache while eating other than trimming? I just grew a goatee in order to try to blend in more with the older collegues I work with and I'm having some trouble with the mustache part...I kinda like the look though, I might keep it for a while...

If you are having trouble growing the mustache part.. you shouldnt have to worry about getting food in it. It cant be that bushy. lol It will probably be another 9 months until you have to worry about it.

No, I've got it already...Nor probs growing the hair, just keeping it clean...Think it'd be ok for me to just lick like a cat does it's fur? Especially in public???

You need to keep it trimmed Bama. That's the only way...oh and you might want to try using utensils the next time you eat. We find them very useful up north here.

I was just about to ask you if you wore turtlenecks while you eat due to the entanglement of chest hair shown in your pic...Utensils-Smutensils...LOL

I've had a beard for a while. Get yourself a Groomsman or an equivalent set of clippers. A #2 guard should geep it looking pretty "tight".

Just incase if you start thinking you might shave the goatee and leave the mustache, refer to this saying.."Friends dont let friends wear mustaches."

I have been reading some of your posts today Matt, man you must be bored I have a little trimmer gadget that keeps my whiskers presentable. Maybe $35, but it works great. I don't think getting crumbs in my mustache has ever been a problem, what are you eating standing on your head?

Keith, today couldn't have been any more boring...As a matter of fact, I've got a loan closing as we speak in my office, and I can't leave until they're finished! I wanna go home! But, thanks for the tips, and no, I'll never sport just a 'stache...

Bama had a mustache for 35 plus years never had a problem with food (see my photo in the gallery). Got to be standing on you head and eating. also use to have a handlebar.
