Anyone for dinner tonight?

I'm cooking a Low Country Boil tonight which includes: blue crab, shrimp, potatoes, onions, sausage, and corn on the cob in a big turkey fryer...We'll also be having garlic bread and cold beverages...No utensils allowed! Who's hungry now? I bet Forged can make a mean boil too, being Cajun and all...

Your menu sounds great, if Forged can't make it, I can! I can attest to the fact that Forged can boil crawfish better than anyone! Forged will insist that you add lots of garlic. He loves the garlic from the boil. I take that garlic and spread it on french bread, he just squishes the garlic in his mouth.

What kind of Shimp Boil do you use, Zatarain's?

Yeah, I use Zatarains...I'll put a good deal of garlic into it as well...I'm making 2 different pots, one for the kids, and one for the adults with 2 big bottles of LA hot souce for it!

P.S. I'd love to have some crawfish!!!

I think it's kinda late in the season for crawfish now. I had some a couple weeks ago, and they were getting really hard shells.

We need to get you a bigger pot than a big turkey fryer. Forged can just about fit into ours!

Talking food...the company I work for used to do a lot of work for the Paper Mills around Savannah GA. There is a hole in the wall restaurant on Tybee Island (can not think of the name now), man is the food good, and everything is served on paper plates and plastic utensils when you get through just shove everything to the hole in the middle of the table. If you are ever in Savannah check it out the locals now the place think it may be the Crab Shack not sure.

I'm taking your word for it Forged...Especially about the mushrooms...And yes, Pings, I do need a bigger pot, but it gets the job done...Also, I believe I've been to the place you're talking about Halk, is it on the right, just before the bridge before you get into Tybee?

Yep that's it you go down a narrow street or alley you think you are going back into a trailer park or someones home. They have live Gators in a fenced in area (you can feed the little ones to the Gators when they get out of hand or do not clean there plates.) Better hide from that last comment

We actually have some gator tail in our freezer! We'll have to fry it up, but you'll have to come get it!

There is nothing better in life than to have family close and a good dinner.

You've got that right! Especially since I haven't seen my Brother or my Parents since December 9th...It's tough to get back home to Sweet Home Alabama with jobs and all...
