I have a feeling he won't be convicted...One thing I hope is that maybe it'll change the way he acts with children...

Edit: I'm going to miss my daily does of King of the Hill because of the Breaking News coverage....

Oh, he's guilty alright. :nodsmiley The jury may not find him guilty but he will answer to a higher power.

I'm in the same boat as you, league...I think he's definitely guilty, but I'm not so sure he'l be found that way by the jury...

I just hope that people will change the way they allow their children to be around him in the first place.

Well I knew he wouldn't be convicted...I just hope this scared him enough to change his actions, and like Grneyedblack hopefully Parents will look twice at leaving their children with him....

And what's with the people standing outside waiting? I'm just wondering if they have anything else better to do then cheer on a washed up Superstar...

Edit: And I missed a rerun of King of the Hill for this...

It's not funny but just wondered how many "media" members will be "forced" to "sleepover" outside Neverland tonight?

And I also like Wishbone am wondering, why in the heck would you fly in from England to stand outside the fence of the trial?
Do they give money out at these things or something?

I rarely comment on highly-charged issues, but in this case: Amazing! Just shows that I have no concept of what jurors are apt to do. I thought he was guilty as sin!

Just another example of how the Justice system works in this country, if you got the money to hire the big guns no problem but if you do not watch out. MR. Jackson will answer to a higher power one of these days.

I think he did it but this case was over long ago. There was enough reasonable doubt to acquit 20 defendants between all of the conflicting testimony and questionable characters that the prosecution put forth as witnesses. I just hope he learns something from this.

I think you said a mouthful that was more to the point than any post I've read on this. First off, I wasn't on the jury and have no personal knowledge of any of this case other than what the news has put out. According to the news the family involved in this has a history of trying to extort money, this being only one of the instances. Even if MJ is guilty of the crimes, the history of the accusers totally blew the case out of the water. If he is guilty I believe another victim will eventually come forward and, hopefully, have more credibility. If he's not guilty, as a jury has found him, then he had better think twice about the kind of company he invites to his home and the accomodations that he offers. I also have to wonder what kind of parent would allow their child to go there, especially after all of the publicity. Always better to err on the side of the safety and well being of our children. Have a good night everybody.
Jerry

I'll even volunteer to help dismantle Neverland's amusement rides and other kiddie attractions so that this never happens again and that we never have to hear about it again.
