has anyone seen shrek 2?

i just saw it with my son today and i must say it's a wonderful movie. after walking out of the theatre, i kept laughing to myself thinking about parts of the movie. it ranks up there with finding nemo as one of the most hilarious animated movies i've seen.

Did you stay for the "little surprizes" after the credits?

no, i didn't. i was already accustomed to waiting after the credits of pixar movies but i didn't know there was anything for shrek 2. i guess i'll just have to wait until the dvd comes out because we'll surely be picking up a copy.

I saw the movie but missed the surprises after the credits, too. I loved Puss N Boots. He was my favorite character of them all.

Sure, why not? I'm not going to pay again to see it in theatres so I might as well read about it here.

I took the family to see it on opening weekend...I thought it was good, but the plot was not very interesting. Puss was very funny and added a lot to the movie...

And you left early?

After the credits there's another comical scene. Donkey's dragon bride appears and Donkey is gang tackled by 5-6 little little "Dragon/Donkey" babies.
They're flying baby donkeys with tiny little red dragon wings and they can breathe fire. Donkey celebrates his fatherhood by jumping around with his fire breathing offspring. This explains the lady dragon's absence in the movie and Donkey's earlier comment about her being "moody lately!" It was another funny scene and if you missed it......that's what you get for leaving early!
